This place is beautiful. So much history. If you have a chance to catch a show, please do yourself a favor and go. If you are scared of heights, don't get seats on the second tier and above, especially the first row of seats.

Marvelous spot for live music, with obviously epic interior calling back to the 1932 art deco roots. Magisterial interior and cosmic atmosphere. Layers of stairs with cool turns and windows for noisy people watching. Worth exploring beforehand. Well-run concession lines with Manhattan price points you expect to pay. Longer artist merchandise lines that moved much slower (the guy in front of me went shopping during the show much quicker). Kind and practice staff directing you everywhere. Solid security and everyone from inside to out was welcoming and cheerful. Show acoustics matched the vintage starship venue. Made to make strong memories. Totally insane bathroom crush at intermission that somehow worked out. But be ready to pop. Reasonable crowd for my show (Gregory Alan Isakov with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra). Older and mostly couples and friend groups (isn't that always the case?). Zero solo travelers like myself that I could identify. A theater that every other theater seems to echo, but Radio City had the scale and odd details and just enough idiosyncratic and period points. Must attend at least once for something.

Came by for Journey Through Jazz: Overtures of Africa Friday night after dropping by the venue several times including for events in the past. The space is large yet intimate overlooking 59th Street, Columbus Circle and Central Park. The Jazz at Lincoln Center band always kill it and the venue is a great setting to take in a show. Highly recommend stopping by for a performance.

Kudos to the curators and financiers for bringing The Anatomy of the Orchestra: The Four Sections experience to the United States. While I was saddened that the orchestra was in town from London for only a fleeting moment, I was greatful for this mind blowing new experience. I had no idea what to expect. I followed my curiosity. Turned out to be a model for democratizing music. The interactive event demistified and made classical music and professional instruments fascinating. Every nuance was just right. Pictures or videos will not replace being among the performers, freely talking with them, up close to their instruments. I never knew there was sign language for music. Wow! My wishes: 1. You and other institutions bring this orchestra back. Many times! 2. Education takes a page from this playbook and exposes children (ok, adults too) to the arts in such an interactive experiential manner. 3. Buildings do accessibility, cleanliness, and welcomeness as well as David Geffen Hall.

It is fantastic to know that we have a theater 92NY on the upper east side that can host beautiful talent without having to go downtown. I went to see Heather Headley, who is an amazing vocalist, and I was just mesmerized. my daughter brought these tickets for us to go on a mom and daughter date.

An awesome venue for concerts and much more. Student tickets are very affordable. The interior was nice and but you still had the awesome feel of the history of the place. The staff was very friendly and helpful for finding our way around.

Such a classic theater-esk event space. Some many cool organizations and public funded programs are helped. From art, music to theater. These photos were from a Halloween casino night fundraiser. I've seen everything from concerts to wrestling events here. Always an amazing set up. Lighting and decorating always top notch.

Went to see Martin Lawrence Saturday night and had a great experience overall. I had VIP access so getting in was smooth, plus the free drink and popcorn were a nice touch. The workers and Martin's staff were all very friendly, helpful, and organized throughout the night. The theater itself is beautiful and the energy was amazing. Overall I really enjoyed myself and would definitely come back for another show.

Really nice feel. Amazing backyard with a fire pit and great seating. Pro tip: go to a deli nearby to get marshmallows for roasting on the fire in the backyard. None of the delis have skewers so get a box of long hollow pasta (you might have to check a couple delis for them). Once you do this everyone at the show you're at will be in love with you. Have fun!

I came here for a pre screening of PBS Great Performances: SUFFS - the Broadway musical. There was a brief talk by Hillary Clinton before it began, as well as the creator of the musical and other Tony award winners in a panel discussion after the screening. And a performance of one of the songs. The location of the theater is excellent, easy to get to by public transportation, the theater is nice and the seats are comfortable. There are plenty of employees to help direct traffic and the bathrooms are clean. I'd definitely come here again!

PlayStation Theater is a great venue! I like that it's tiered so you can see the stage even if you're farther back in the crowd, and they also have TVs set up hanging from the ceiling so you can watch from the seats in the back as well. It was a perfect sized venue for the concert I went to. The drinks are a little pricey, but that's true anywhere you go to a show in my experience, so it didn't put me off the venue. They also sell fresh pizza by the outside bar. The restrooms were super clean as well.

Grew up next to this place. Who can forget " The Vampire Lesbians of Sodom"! One of the longest running Off Broadway plays right behind The Fantastics. Hope Acting 101 goes well here! Great theater. Take care of it NYU.
